Program description: Our Creating Communities of Care model − based on the Share The Care™ model − explains how to create a cost-effective, efficient, compassionate model of communal caregiving. In this model, care receivers and caregivers invite family members, friends, colleagues, and volunteers to share in the responsibilities of care. When an entire, supportive care network shoulders the responsibilities and tasks, no one person is overwhelmed by the caregiving experience.
