RESIDENTS
In September 2006 the American Board of Medical Specialties recognized Palliative and Hospice Care as a formal subspecialty. While the emerging field of palliative care has not been a traditional feature of clinical education, Life Quality Institute has worked with Family Medicine and Internal Medicine residency programs to integrate palliative care into the residency programs with the ultimate goal of standardizing palliative care education and training experiences for Colorado's Family and Internal Medicine residents.
